Rings Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Ring Stitch:

Work with multiple of 12 stitches + 7 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 21 stitches (12 + 7 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work all sts as they appear.

The patt rep = 12 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st, work patt rep throughout, end with 7 sts after patt and 1 edge st.

сross 5 sts: slip stitch to 1st cable needle and hold in front; slip 3 sts to 2nd cable needle and hold in back; K1; then K3 from 2nd cable needle; finally K1 from 1st cable needle

Row 1: edge st, * (p1, k5) twice *, repeat from * to *, p1, k5, p1, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * p1, сross 5 sts, p1, k5 *, repeat from * to *, p1, сross 5 sts, p1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * (p1, k5) twice *, repeat from * to *, p1, k5, p1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * p1, k5, p1, сross 5 sts *, repeat from * to *, p1, k5, p1, edge st

Row 9: edge st, * (p1, k5) twice *, repeat from * to *, p1, k5, p1, edge st.

Work Rows 1-10 once, then repeat Rows 3-10 throughout.
