Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 7 sts + 2 edge sts. 

Cast on 16 stitches (7 + 7 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, work sts as they appear; work yo’s P.

The patt rep = 7 sts.

Repeat patt between edge stitches throughout.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

C3Fp: slip 1 st to 1st cable needle and hold in front; slip 1 st to 2nd cable needle and hold in back; K1; then P1 from 2nd cable needle and K1 from 1st cable needle

Row 1: edge st, * k2tog, yo, k1, p1, k1, yo, skpo *; repeat from * to *; edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * k2tog, yo, C3Fp, yo, skpo *; repeat from * to *; edge st.

Work rows 1-4 once, then repeat rows 3-4 throughout.
