Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Work with multiple of 6 stitches + 3 + 2 edge stitches. 

Cast on 17 stitches (6 + 6 + 3 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows Right Side and Wrong Side rows.

The numbers at right edge of chart indicate RS rows, and at left edge WS rows.

The pat rep = 6 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Row 1: edge st, * yo, cdd, yo, p3, repeat from * to last 4 sts, yo, cdd, yo, edge st.

Row 2: edge st, k3, * p3, k3, repeat from * to last stitch, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * p3, yo, cdd, yo, repeat from * to last 4 sts, p3, edge st.

Row 4: edge st, p3, * k3, p3, repeat from * to last stitch, edge st.

Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.
