Fancy Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Fancy Stitch:

Multiple of 6 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 14 sts (6 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to the chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work sts as they appear and work yo's according to the chart key.

The pat rep = 6 sts wide. 

yo: yarn over; purl yo on WS rows

yo2: 2 yarn overs from back to front. On WS rows, purl first yo through the back loop, work second yo purl.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

Row 1: edge st, * k2tog, yo, k2, yo, skpo, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * p2, k2, p2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * p1, k2tog, yo2, skpo, p1, repeat from *, edge st.

Repeat rows 1-6 throughout for pattern.
