Aran Knitting Pattern
How to knit Cable Stitch:
Cast on 36 stitches (5 + 24 + 5 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only RS rows.
On WS rows, work all sts as they appear (= knit all knit stitches and purl all purl stitches).
Knit Panel of 24 stitches.
Begin with 1 selv st and 5 sts before panel, work motive, end with 5 sts after motive and 1 selv st.
Repeat rows 1-8 throughout.
