Wavy Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Wavy Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 18 stitches + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 21 stitches and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side rows.

On Wrong Side rows, purl all stitches and yarn overs.

Begin with 1 edge stitch, work the rep as many times as necessary, end with the stitch after patt rep and 1 edge stitch.

k: Knit

p: Purl

yo: yarn over

p3tog: purl 3 stitches together

Row 1: Purl.

Row 3: edge st, * k1, yo, k2, p5, p3tog, p5, k2, yo *; repeat from * to *; end with k1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k2, yo, k2, p4, p3tog, p4, k2, yo, k1 *; repeat from * to *; end with k1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * k3, yo, k2, p3, p3tog, p3, k2, yo, k2 *; repeat from * to *; end with k1, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, * k4, yo, k2, p2, p3tog, p2, k2, yo, k3 *; repeat from * to *; end with k1, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, * k5, yo, k2, p1, p3tog, p1, k2, yo, k4 *; repeat from * to *; end with k1, edge st.

Row 13: edge st, * k6, yo, k2, p3tog, k2, yo, k5 *; repeat from * to *; end with k1, edge st.

Work rows 1-14 once, then repeat rows 3-14 throughout.
