How to knit Diamond Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 18 stitches + 5 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 25 stitches (18 + 5 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to сhart.
The chart shows Right Side rows and 3 Wrong Side Rows.
The numbers at right edge of chart indicate Right Side Rows, and at left edge Wrong Side Rows.
Read Right Side Rows from right to left, Wrong Side Rows from left to right.
The pattern repeat = 18 stitches wide.
Begin with 1 Wrong Side row.
Abbreviation:
k: Knit
p: Purl
pass1 over k3: Pick up the yarn from the 2nd stitch and place it on the right needle, knit 3 stitches and pass the yarn over these 3 stitches
purl gst (1 st in purl garter stitch): purl in right side and wrong side rows
