Relief Stripe Knitting Pattern

How to knit Relief Stripe:

Multiple of 5 + 2 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 14 sts (2 + 5 + 5 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 5 sts.

Row 1 (WS): edge st, k2, * p3, k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 2 (RS): edge st, * p2, insert needle between 2nd and 3rd stitches, pull out loop, yarn over and K3tog tbl (knit 3 stitches together through back loop), repeat from * to the last 3 sts, p2, edge st.

Row 3 (WS): edge st, k2, * p3, k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Work rows 1-3 once, then repeat rows 2-3 throughout.
