How to knit Relief Stitch:

Multiple of 6 + 3 + 2 selvage sts.

Cast on 11 sts (1 + 6 + 2 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work sts as they appear; work yo’s P.

The pat rep = 6 sts.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

k1ktog2: K1, knit 2 stitches together

incr3: make 3 sts (K1, yo, K1) into 1 st

Row 1: edge st, p1, * incr3, p5, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, incr3, p1, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, p1, * k1ktog2, p5, repeat from * to the last 5 sts, k1ktog2, p1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, p1, * k2tog, p5, repeat from * to the last 4 sts, k2tog, p1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, p1, * p3, incr3, p2, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, p2, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, p1, * p3, k1ktog2, p2, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, p2, edge st.
