Leaf Cable Stitch Knitting Pattern
How to knit Leaf Cable Stitch:
Work with multiple of 24 stitches + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 26 sts (24 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only Right Side Rows.
On Wrong Side Rows, work all sts as they appear; work yo's Purl.
The patt rep = 24 sts wide.
Repeat patt between edge stitches throughout.
yo: yarn over
K3tog: knit 3 stitches together
sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches
C4B: slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to back, K2, K2 from cable needle
Row 1: edge st, * p1, k4, k3tog, yo, k1, yo, p1, k4, p1, yo, k1, yo, sk2p, k4, p1; repeat from * to last stitch, edge st.
Row 3: edge st, * p1, k2, k3tog, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, p1, k4, p1, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, sk2p, k2, p1; repeat from * to last stitch, edge st.
Row 5: edge st, * p1, k3tog, k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, p1, C4B, p1, k2, yo, k1, yo, k2, sk2p, p1; repeat from * to last stitch, edge st.
Repeat Rows 1-6 throughout.
