How to knit Lace Checker Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 12 stitches + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 27 sts (6 + 12 + 7 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, purl all sts and yo’s. 

The patt rep = 12 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st and 6 sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with 7 sts after patt rep and 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Rows 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9: edge st, k1, yo, k2tog, k3, * k4, skpo, yo, k1, yo, k2tog, k3 *; repeat from * to *; k4, skpo, yo, k1, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, k2, yo, k2tog, k2, * k3, skpo, yo, k3, yo, k2tog, k2 *; repeat from * to *; k3, skpo, yo, k2, edge st.

Row 13: edge st, k3, yo, k2tog, k1, * k2, skpo, yo, k5, yo, k2tog, k1 *; repeat from * to *; k2, skpo, yo, k3, edge st.
