How to knit Diamond Pattern:
Work with a multiple of 20 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 23 stitches (20 + 1 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only Right Side Rows.
On Wrong Side Rows, purl all the stitches and yarn-over loops.
The pattern repeat = 20 stitches wide.
Begin with 1 edge stitch, work patt rep throughout, end with 1 stitch after patt rep and 1 edge stitch.
Abbreviation:
k: knit
p: purl
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): Purl.
