Lace Leaf Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Leaf Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 8 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 19 sts (4 + 8 + 5 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work sts as they appear; work yo's P.

The patt rep = 8 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st and 4 sts before patt rep, work patt repeat throughout, end with 5 sts after patt and 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Rows 1, 3 and 5: edge st, p1, skpo, k1, yo, * k1, yo, k1, k2tog, p1, skpo, k1, yo *; repeat from * to *; k1, yo, k1, k2tog, p1, edge st.
