Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Stitch:

Work with multiple of 7 stitches + 3 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 12 sts (7 + 3 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows Right Side rows and Wrong Side rows.

The numbers at right edge of chart indicate RS rows, and at left edge WS rows.

Read RS rows from right to left, WS rows from left to right.

The pat rep = 7 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

K1 tbl: knit 1 stitch through back loop

2-st RTp: purl 2nd st before first st, without dropping from LH needle, purl the first st, drop both sts from LH needle

Row 1: edge st, * k3, yo, skpo, k2tog, yo, repeat from * to last 4 sts, k3, edge st.

Row 2: edge st, p3, * p1, 2-st RTp, p4, repeat from * to last stitch, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * k3, k2tog, yo2, skpo, repeat from * to last 4 sts, k3, edge st.

Row 4: edge st, p3, * p2, K1 tbl, p4, repeat from * to last stitch, edge st.

Repeat these 4 Rows for pattern.
