Fancy Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Fancy Stitch:

Multiple of 6 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 15 sts (6 + 6 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 6 sts wide.

inc3: make 3 sts (K1, yo, K1) into 1 st

inc5: make 5 sts (K1, yo, K1, yo, K1) into 1 st

slip3 wyif: slip 3 sts pwise, leave yarn at front of work

slip5 wyif: slip 5 sts pwise, leave yarn at front of work

C2B: slip 1 st to cable needle, hold to back, ssk (slip one st as if to knit, slip another st as if to knit, insert left-hand needle into front of these 2 stitches and knit them together), knit st from cn

C2F: slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to front, K1, then knit 2 sts together from cn

p2tog: purl 2 sts together

p2tog tbl: purl 2 sts together in back loops, inserting needle from the left, behind and into the

backs of the 2nd & 1st stitches in that order

Row 1: knit all sts.

Row 2: purl all sts.

Row 3: edge st, * k3, inc5, k2, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 4: edge st, p1, * p2, slip5 wyif, p3, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k2, C2B, k1, C2F, k1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 6: edge st, p1, * p2tog tbl, p3, p2tog, p1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 7: knit all sts.

Row 8: purl all sts.

Row 9: edge st, inc3, k2, * k3, inc5, k2, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k3, inc3, edge st.

Row 10: edge st, slip3 wyif, p3, * p2, slip5 wyif, p3, repeat from * to last 6 sts, p2, slip3 wyif, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, k1, C2F, k1, * k2, C2B, k1, C2F, k1, repeat from * to last 6 sts, k2, C2B, k1, edge st.

Row 12: edge st, p2, p2tog, p1, * p2tog tbl, p3, p2tog, p1, repeat from * to last 5 sts, p2tog tbl, p2, edge st.

Repeat rows 1-12 throughout.
