Easy Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern
How to knit Lace Stitch:
Work with multiple of 24 stitches + 13 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 39 sts (6 + 24 + 7 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only RS rows.
On WS rows, work all sts and yo’s P.
The pat rep = 24 sts wide.
Begin with 1 edge st and 6 sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with 7 sts after patt and 1 edge st.
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch
Row 1: edge st, k6, * k10, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, k9, repeat from * to last 8 sts, edge st.
Row 3: edge st, k4, k2tog, yo, * k1, yo, skpo, k6, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, skpo, k6, k2tog, yo, repeat from * to last 8 sts, k1, yo, skpo, k4, edge st.
