Size: 14-16 (US 10-12).
Materials:
Yarn: 500 g (50% mohair, 50% acrylic, yardage = 450 m/100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size US 1,5 (2,5 mm) and one circular needle size US 1,5 (2,5 mm).
Stocking stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.
Lace Pattern:
Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.
Repeat Rows 1-34 throughout.
Eyelet Stripes:
Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.
Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.
Border pattern:
Rows 1, 2, 3: Knit.
Rows 4, 5, 6: Purl.
Rows 7, 8, 9: Knit.
Row 10: Purl.
Row 11: * K2tog, yo, rep from * to end.
Row 12: Purl.
Tension: 24 sts and 31 rows = 10 x 10 сm.
Back:
Cast on 129 sts and work 12 R in Border Patt.
Cont working in St st throughout.
At the same time, for side slants, at both ends dec 1st on 4 foll 12th rows, then at both ends inc 1st on 4 foll 12th rows.
Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 36 cm from cast on, at each end bind off 4 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st 3 times on every 2nd row.
Continue even.
Neckline Shaping: When piece measures 57 cm from cast on, bind off center 13 sts, then 6 sts every other row once and 7 sts once from each neck edge.
Front:
Cast on 129 sts and work 12 R in Border Patt.
Cont as foll: selv st, K19, 9 sts in Eyelet Stripes, 71 M in Lace Patt, 9 sts in Eyelet Stripes, K19, selv st.
Armhole Shaping work same as Back and, at the same time, for the Neck Shaping, when piece measures 52 cm from cast on, bind off center 11 sts and finish both sides separately.
For rounding at inside edge bind off 4 sts once, 3 sts once, 2 sts twice and 1 stitch 3 times on every 2nd row.
Work even for 6 rows more.
Sleeves:
Cast on 55 sts and work 12 R in Border Patt.
Cont working in St st throughout.
Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 stitch every 8th row 15 times at each end.
Cap Shaping: When piece measures 45 cm from cast on, at each end bind off 4 sts once, 3 sts twice, 1 stitch 14 times, 2 sts 3 times, 4 sts once and rem sts once on every 2nd row.
Finishing:
Sew shoulder seams.
Sew side and sleeve seams. Set in sleeves.
For neckband, using circular needle, pick up 84 sts along neck edge and work in Border Patt.
When neckband meas 3 cm, bind off all sts.
