Short Sleeve Pullover in Lace and Textured Patterns

pulloverSizes: 10/12 (US 6/8).

Materials: 

Yarn: 300 g (100% Wool, yardage = 110 m/50 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 4.5 mm (US 7), crochet hook size 4 (US G).

Rib Pattern: alt K1, P1.

Textured Pattern:

Work according to chart 1. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

Repeat Rows 1-12 throughout.

Lace Pattern:

Work according to chart 2. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts and yos P.

Repeat Rows 1-10 throughout.

Gauge: 17 sts and 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back/Front: 

Cast on 79 sts and work 4 rows in Rib Patt.

Cont as foll: selv st, 12 sts in St st, 12 sts in Textured Pattern, 29 sts in Lace Pattern 12 sts in Textured Pattern, 12 sts in St st, selv st. 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 40 cm from beg, at each end bind off 3 sts, then 2 sts once and 1 st twice on every 2nd row = 65 sts.

Neckline Shaping: After 51 cm from beg, bind off center 25 sts and complete both sides separately.

For rounding at inside edge on every 2nd row bind off 2 sts once, 2 sts once and 1 st 3 times.

When piece meas 59 cm from beg, bind off rem 13 sts each side for shoulders.

Sleeves: 

Cast on 51 sts and work 6 cm in Rib Patt, inc 1 st on last WS row.

Cont as foll: selv st, 19 sts in St st, 12 sts in Textured Pattern, 19 sts in St st, selv st. 

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 5 cm from beg, at each end bind off 3 sts, then 2 sts once, 1 st 3 times, 2 sts twice, 3 sts twice and rem 16 sts once on every 2nd row. 

Finishing: 

Close shoulder seams. 

With crochet hook, work 1 rnd sc and 1 rnd crab st (= sc from left to right) around neckline edge. 

Sew in sleeves, join side and sleeve seams.
