Pullover with Collar in Fancy Pattern

Sizes: 10/12 (US 8/10).

Materials:

Yarn: 600 g (100% Acrylic, yardage = 150 m/100 g); quick knit needles sizes 4.5 and 5 mm (US 7 and 8) and one circular needle size 5 mm (US 8).

Rib Patt: alt K1, P1 Rib. 

Stockinette stitch (St st): K on RS rows, P on WS rows. 

Fancy Patterns 1 and 2: Work according to charts. 

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear.

Rep from * to *.

Gauge:

16 sts and 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm over St st with 5 mm needles.

Back:

Using needles size 4 mm, cast on 62 sts and work in Rib Patt.  

After 4 cm from cast on switch to 5 mm needles and work in Fancy Pattern 1 acc to chart. 

Work other side in reverse beg from center. 

Armhole Shaping: When piece measures 36 cm from cast on, at each end bind off 4 sts once and 2 sts twice on every 2nd row. 

When piece measures 52 cm from cast on, bind off sts.

Front: Work same as back.

Sleeves:

Using needles size 4 mm, cast on 34 sts and work in Rib Patt.  

After 4 cm from cast on switch to 5 mm needles and cont as foll: 7 sts in St st, 20 sts in Fancy Pattern 2, 7 sts in St st. 

Sleeve Shaping: Inc 1 stitch each side every 10th row 7 times. Work inc'd sts into St st. 

Cap Shaping: When piece measures 46 cm from cast on, at both ends bind off 2 sts 10 times on every 2nd row. Then bind off rem sts.  

Finishing:

Sew shoulder seams 5 cm on either side. 

Collar Shaping: With circular needle, from WS pick up 104 sts along neckline edge and work rnds in Fancy Pattern 2.  

After 10 cm from picking up, cont in Rib Patt.

After 12 cm from cast on, bind off sts.

Set in sleeves. 

Sew sleeve seams.
