Pullover in Zigzag Pattern

Sizes: 10/12 (US 6/8).

Materials:

300 g of fragmentarily dyed yarn in auburn shades (80% Acrylic, 20% Angora, yardage = 550 m/100 g); 1 pair quick knit needles size 3 mm (US 2.5), 1 cable needle.

Garter st (gst): RS and WS rows K.

Gst in rnds: K 1 rnd, P 1 rnd alternately.

Basic Pattern: Zigzag Pattern: 

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows work all sts as they appear, purl yos.

On odd-numbered rnds, work all sts and yos K.

Repeat Rows 1-2 throughout.

Pullover is worked in one piece top down.

Working: 

Cast on 100 sts and join to work in the rnd, work 4 rnds in gst. 

Cont as foll: for back - 33 sts in Basic Pattern, K2 of raglan; for right sleeve - 13 sts in Basic Pattern, K2 of raglan; for front - 33 sts in Basic Pattern, K2 of raglan; for left sleeve - 13 sts in Basic Pattern, K2 of raglan.

For widening, inc 1 st 26 times on every 2nd row on all 4 raglan lines. 

Work incs with yos before and after raglan sts.

When piece measures 20 cm from beg, place sts of sleeves onto cn.

Join sts of back and front in the round and work in rnds in Basic Pattern. 

When piece measures 58 cm from beg, work 4-6 rows in gst and bind off all sts. 

Place sts on cn to needles and work in Basic Pattern. 

Sleeve Shaping: Dec 1 st each side every 8th row.

When piece measures 58 cm from beg, work 4-6 rows in gst and bind off all sts.

Rep for other sleeve. 

Sew sleeve seams.
