Materials:
Yarn: 400 g (20% cotton, 80% acrylic, 190 m per 100 g ball); one pair knit needles and one circular knitting needle, both size 2 mm (US 0).
Stocking stitch (St st): Work RS rows K and WS rows P.
Lace Leaves Pattern:
Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows work all sts and yos P.
Back and Front: Repeat Rows 1-8 4 times, work Rows 33-62 once, Rows 35-65 once, Rows 91-94 once, then repeat Rows 93-94 to end of piece.
Sleeves: Repeat Rows 35-62 throughout.
Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Back:
Cast on 74 sts and work in Lace Leaf Pattern.
Armhole Shaping: On Row 105 from beg, bind off 3 sts at each end, then 1 stitch every other row 7 times = 54 sts.
Neckline Shaping: On Row 40 from beg armhole, bind off center 14 sts, then 3 sts every other row once, 2 sts once, and 1 stitch twice at both neck edges.
On Row 153 from pick-up row, bind off rem 14 shoulder sts on either side.
Front:
Work like back, but with V-neck as foll:
Neckline Shaping: On Row 97 from beg, divide the work in the middle and work each side separately.
Bind off 1 stitch every other row 13 times at neck edge for neck slants.
Armhole Shaping: On Row 105 from beg, bind off 3 sts at each end, then 1 stitch every other row 7 times.
On Row 153 from pick-up row, bind off rem 14 shoulder sts on either side.
Sleeves:
Cast on 45 sts and work in Lace Leaf Pattern.
Cap Shaping: On Row 111 from beg, bind off 3 sts at each end, then 1 stitch every other row 4 times, 1 stitch every 4th row 3 times, 1 stitch every other row 4 times, 2 sts once, 3 sts twice.
On Row 151 from beg, bind off remaining 7 sts.
Finishing:
Sew shoulder and side seams.
Sew sleeve seams and set in sleeves.
Neckband: With RS facing and circular needle pick up and k 83 sts evenly around neck edge.
Rows 1-2: St st.
Row 4: *K2tog, yo1, rep from * throughout.
Rows 4-5: St st.
Row 6: Purl.
Pointed end shaping: knit center 3 sts together from Row 2.
