Size: 10/12 (US 8/10).
Materials:
Yarn: 450 g (100% mercerized cotton, 106 m/50 g); one pair quick knit needles size 3,5 mm (US 4) and crochet hook size 2,5 mm (US B).
Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern:
Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.
On WS rows, work all sts as they appear, purl yo’s.
Begin with 1 selv st and 13 sts before patt, work patt rep throughout, end with 14 sts after patt and 1 selv st.
Repeat Rows 1-40 throughout.
Gauge:
in lace pattern: 25 sts and 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
Back:
Cast on 115 sts + 2 edge sts and work 1 WS row purl.
Continue in Lace Patt.
Waist Shaping: On Row 79 from beg, bind off 1 st at each end, then 1 st every 10th, 8th, 6th, 4th rows twice and 1 st every other row once = 97 sts.
For the side shaping, on Row 139 from beg, inc 1 st at each side, then every 6th row 6 times more = 111 sts.
Armhole Shaping: On Row 195 from beg, bind off 4 sts at each end, then 2 sts twice and 1 stitch twice every other row = 91 sts.
On Row 211 from beg, inc 1 stitch at each end, then 1 stitch every 4th row 4 times, 1 stitch every other row 6 times = 113 sts.
Neckline Shaping: On Row 237 from beg, bind off center 27 sts, then at both neck edges, bind off 4 sts every other row once, 3 sts twice, 2 sts twice and 1 stitch twice.
For the shoulder shaping, on Row 239 from beg, bind off from each shoulder edge 2 sts, then bind off 2 sts once, 3 sts 3 times, 2 sts 4 times and 1 st 6 times every other row.
On Row 254 from beg, all sts have been used up.
Front:
Work like back, but with deeper neckline.
Neckline Shaping: On Row 197 from beg, bind off center 18 sts, then at both neck edges, bind off 4 sts every other row once, 3 sts once, 2 sts twice and 1 stitch 3 times.
For the shoulder shaping, on Row 239 from beg, bind off from each shoulder edge 2 sts, then bind off 2 sts once, 3 sts 3 times, 2 sts 4 times and 1 st 6 times every other row.
On Row 254 from beg, all sts have been used up.
Finishing:
Join shoulder and side seams.
With crochet hook, work 1 row crab st (= sc from left to right) evenly around neck edge, ending with ss (slip stitch).
