Lace Leaf Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Leaf Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 19 stitches + 2 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 23 sts (19 + 2 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side rows, purl all sts and yo's.

The patt rep = 19 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

ssk: slip one stitch as if to knit, slip another stitch as if to knit. Insert left-hand needle into front of these 2 sts and knit them together

Rows 1, 3, 5 and 7: edge st, k1, * ssk, k3, (yo, ssk) twice, yo, k1, yo, (k2tog, yo) twice, k3, k2tog *; repeat from * to *; k1, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, k1, * ssk, k2, (yo, k2tog) twice, yo, k3, yo, (ssk, yo) twice, k2, k2tog *; repeat from * to *; k1, edge st.
