V-Neck Pullover in Fancy Pattern

Sizes: Medium/Large.

Materials:

Yarn: 300 g (45% Wool, 55 % Acrylic, yardage = 250 m/100 g); one pair each quick knit needles and one circular needle, both size 4 mm (US 6).

Rib Pattern: * K1, P1, rep from * throughout.

Fancy pattern:

Work according to chart. Only RS rows are shown.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear, purl yo's.

Repeat Rows 1-24 thoughout.

Gauge:

in Fancy Pattern: 22 sts and 30 rows = 10 x 10 cm.

Back:

Cast on 98 sts and work in Fancy Pattern, beg from the 13th st of chart.

For the Waist Shaping, on Row 9 from beg, bind off 1 st at each end, then 1 st every 8th row 3 times = 90 sts. 

Work 35 rows even.

On Row 44 from beg, inc 1 stitch at each end, then 1 stitch every 8th row 6 times = 104 sts.

For the Armhole Shaping, on Row 108 from beg, bind off 4 sts at each end, then 3 sts every other row once, 2 sts once and 1 stitch twice = 82 sts.

Then work 60 rows in Fancy pattern and bind off all sts.

Front: Work same as back.

For the V-Neck Shaping, on Row 108 from beg, divide the work in the middle and work each side separately. 

For the V-neck slant, at inside edge bind off 1 st, then bind off 1 st on every 2nd row 5 times, 1 st on every 4th row 11 times.

On Row 168 from beg, bind off remaining 26 shoulder sts on either side.

Sleeves:

Cast on 74 sts and work 24 rows in Fancy Pattern.

For the Cap Shaping, on Row 25 from beg, bind off 4 sts at each end, then 3 sts on every 2nd row once, 2 sts 3 times, 1 st 15 times and 3 sts twice.

On Row 44 from beg, bind off remaining 6 sts.

Finishing:

Sew side seam and join shoulder seams.

Sew sleeve seams and set in sleeves.

For the Neck Band, with RS facing and circular needle, pick up 112 sts evenly around neck edge and work 6 rows in Rib Pat.

For the Corner Shaping, on every row, slip the middle and previous sts together kwise, knit next st and pass 2 slipped stitches over.

Then bind off all sts in patt.
