False English Rib Knitting Pattern

How to knit False English Rib:

Multiple of 4 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 15 sts (4 + 4 + 4 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 4 sts wide.

Row 1: slv (edge st), * K2, P1, K1, repeat from *, ending with K1 and slv.

Row 2: slv, P1, * K1, make 1 yarn over, pass 1 stitch over on the right needle purlwise, K1, P1, repeat from *, slv.

Row 3: slv, * make 1 yarn over, pass 1 stitch over on the right needle purlwise, K1, purl together yarn over and slipped st, K1, repeat from *, make 1 yarn over, pass 1 stitch over on the right needle purlwise, slv.

Row 4: slv, purl together yarn over and slipped st, * K1, make 1 yarn over, pass 1 stitch over on the right needle purlwise, K1, purl together yarn over and slipped st, repeat from *, slv.

Work Rows 1-4 once, then repeat Rows 3 and 4 throughout.
