Wavy Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Wavy Stitch:

Work with multiple of 12 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 15 sts (1 + 12 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear; work yo's Purl.

The pat rep = 12 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Rows 1 and 3: edge st, k1, * (k1, p1) twice, k3, p1, k1, p1, k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, k1, * yo, (k1, p1) twice, cdd, (p1, k1) twice, yo, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, k1, * k1, yo, k1, p1, k1, cdd, k1, p1, k1, yo, k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, k1, * k2, yo, k1, p1, cdd, p1, k1, yo, k3, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, k1, * k3, yo, k1, cdd, k1, yo, k4, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 13: edge st, k1, * k4, yo, cdd, yo, k5, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 15: purl all sts.

Rows 17 and 19: knit all sts.

Row 21: edge st, k1, * k3, yo, k1, cdd, k1, yo, k4, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 23: edge st, k1, * k2, yo, k2, cdd, k2, yo, k3, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 25: edge st, k1, * yo, k4, cdd, k4, yo, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 27: purl all sts.

Repeat Rows 1-28 throughout.
