How to knit Relief Border Pattern:

Cast on an odd number of sts = 15 sts (2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 2 sts.

Begin with 1 selv st, work patt rep throughout, end with st after patt rep and 1 selv st.

Row 1: selv st (edge), * make 3 sts (K1, yo, K1) into 1 st, slip 1 pwise, leave yarn at back of work, repeat from *, make 3 sts (K1, yo, K1) into 1 st, selvage st.

Row 2: selv st, K3tog tbl (= knit 3 stitches together through back loop), * slip 1 pwise, leave yarn at back of work, K3tog tbl, repeat from *, end with selvage st.

Row 3: knit all sts.

Row 4: purl all sts.

Repeat Rows 1-4 throughout.
