Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Multiple of 2 + 2 selvage sts. 

Cast on 14 stitches (2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 selvage sts) and work according to chart.

RS row and WS row are shown.

Read RS row from right to left, WS row from left to right.

The pat rep = 2 sts.

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

k2tog tbl: knit two stitches together as one stitch through the back loop

Row 1: edge st, * yo (yarn over), K2tog, work 1 yo without slipping the st from the needle, K2tog tbl, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 2: edge st, * purl 1 stitch and 1 yarn over together, repeat from *, edge st.

Repeat these 2 rows for pattern.
