Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Work with multiple of 3 stitches + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 17 sts (3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows Right Side and Wrong Side rows.

The numbers at right edge of chart indicate RS rows, and at left edge WS rows.

Read RS rows from right to left, WS rows from left to right.

The patt rep = 3 sts wide.

Repeat patt between edge stitches throughout.

yo: yarn over from back to front

k2tog tbl: knit two stitches together as one stitch through the back loop

slip wyib: slip 1 pwise, leave yarn at back of work

Row 0 (WS): purl all stitches.

Rows 1 (RS) and 2 (WS): edge st, * yo, slip wyib, K2tog tbl, repeat from *, edge st.

Work Rows 0-2 once, then repeat Rows 1-2 throughout.
