Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern
How to knit Mesh Stitch:
Work with a multiple of 4 stitches + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 14 stitches (4 + 4 + 4 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only Right Side Rows.
On Wrong Side Rows, work stitches as they appear on this side of work; purl yarn-over loops, when knitting double yarn over, work first yarn over purl, second yarn over knit.
The pattern repeat = 4 stitches wide.
Begin with 1 edge stitch and 4 stitches before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with 4 stitches after patt rep and 1 edge stitch.
Abbreviation:
k: Knit
p: Purl
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together as one
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 
2-st LT: knit through the back loop 2nd st behind first st, without dropping from LH needle, knit the first st, drop both sts from LH needle
Written Instructions:
Row 1 (right side): edge stitch, p1, k2, p1, * p1, k2, p1 *; repeat from * to *; p1, k2, p1, edge stitch.
Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (wrong side): work stitches as they appear on this side of work; purl yarn-over loops, when knitting double yarn over, work first yarn over purl, second yarn over knit. 
Row 3: edge stitch, p1, 2-st LT, p1, * p1, 2-st LT, p1 *; repeat from * to *; p1, 2-st LT, p1, edge stitch.
Row 5: edge stitch, k2tog, yo2, skpo, * k2tog, yo2, skpo *; repeat from * to *; k2tog, yo2, skpo, edge stitch.
Row 7: edge stitch, k1, p2, * 2-st LT, p2 *; repeat from * to *; 2-st LT, p2, k1, edge stitch.
Row 9: edge stitch, yo, skpo, k2tog, yo, * yo, skpo, k2tog, yo *; repeat from * to *; yo, skpo, k2tog, yo, edge stitch.
Work Rows 1-10 once, then repeat Rows 3-10 throughout.
