Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Mesh Stitch:

Work with multiple of 4 stitches + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 14 stitches (4 + 4 + 4 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows Right Side and Wrong Side Rows.

Read Right Side Rows from right to left, Wrong Side Rows from left to right.

The pat rep = 4 sts wide.

Repeat patt between edge stitches throughout.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Row 1: edge st, * k2tog, yo2, skpo, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 2: edge st, * p2, k1, p1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, yo, skpo, * k2tog, yo2, skpo, repeat from * to last 3 sts, k2tog, yo, edge st.

Row 4: edge st, p2, * p2, k1, p1, repeat from * to last 3 sts, p2, edge st.

Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.
