Lace Zigzag Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Zigzag Stitch:

Work with multiple of 10 sts + 3 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 25 stitches (7 + 10 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work sts as they appear; work yo's P.

The patt rep = 10 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st and 7 sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with 6 sts after patt rep and 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Row 1: edge st, k1, p3, k2tog, yo, k1, * yo, skpo, p5, k2tog, yo, k1 *; repeat from * to *; yo, skpo, p3, k1, edge st.

Row 2 and every even row: work each stitch as it appears on this side of work (knit the k sts and purl the p sts) and purl any yarn-over loops.

Row 3: edge st, k1, p2, k2tog, yo, k2, * k1, yo, skpo, p3, k2tog, yo, k2 *; repeat from * to *; k1, yo, skpo, p2, k1, edge st.
