Lace Wavy Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Wavy Stitch:

Multiple of 16 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 35 sts (8 + 16 + 9 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, purl all stitches and yo's.

The pat rep = 16 sts.

Begin with 1 edge st and 8 sts before patt rep, work patt repeat throughout, end with 9 sts after patt and 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch 

Rows 1, 5, 9 and 13: edge st, k2tog, skpo twice, (yo, k1) twice, yo, * (k1, yo) 3 times, k2tog twice, cdd, skpo twice, (yo, k1) twice, yo, repeat from * to last 10 sts, (k1, yo) 3 times, k2tog twice, skpo, edge st.

Rows 3, 7, 11 and 15: knit all sts.

Rows 17, 21, 25 and 29: edge st, (k1, yo) 3 times, k2tog twice, * cdd, skpo twice, (yo, k1) 5 times, yo, k2tog twice, repeat from * to last 11 sts, cdd, skpo twice, (yo, k1) 3 times, edge st.

Rows 19, 23, 27 and 31: knit all sts.

Repeat Rows 1-32 throughout.
