Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Pattern: 

Work with a multiple of 12 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 15 stitches (12 + 1 + 2 edge stitches) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, purl all sts and yarn-over loops.

The patt rep = 12 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge stitch, work patt rep throughout, end with 1 stitch after patt rep and 1 edge stitch.

k: Knit

p: Purl

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

Row 1: edge st, * k1, skpo, k1, yo, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, yo, k1, k2tog *; repeat from * to *; k1, edge st

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows: Purl.

Row 3: edge st, * k1, skpo, k2, yo, k3, yo, k2, k2tog *; repeat from * to *; k1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k1, skpo, k1, yo, k5, yo, k1, k2tog *; repeat from * to *; k1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * k1, yo, skpo, yo, k1, k2tog, k1, skpo, k1, yo, k2tog, yo *; repeat from * to *; k1, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, * k2, yo, k2, k2tog, k1, skpo, k2, yo, k1 *; repeat from * to *; k1, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, * k3, yo, k1, k2tog, k1, skpo, k1, yo, k2 *; repeat from * to *; k1, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-12 throughout.
