How to knit Lace Stitch:
Work with multiple of 16 stitches + 11 + 2 edge stitches.
Cast on 29 sts (5 + 16 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only RS rows.
On WS rows, work all sts and yo’s P.
The pat rep = 16 sts wide.
Begin with 1 edge st and 5 sts before patt rep, work patt repeat throughout, end with 6 sts after patt and 1 edge st.
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch
Row 1: edge st, k3, skpo, yo, * k1, yo, k2tog, k11, skpo, yo, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k1, yo, k2tog, k3, edge st.
Row 3: edge st, k4, * yo, cdd, yo, k13, repeat from * to last 8 sts, yo, cdd, yo, k4, edge st.
Row 5: edge st, skpo, yo, k1, yo, k2tog, * k1, skpo, yo, k1, yo, k2tog, k5, skpo, yo, k1, yo, k2tog, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k1, skpo, yo, k1, yo, k2tog, edge st.
Row 7: edge st, k1, yo, cdd, yo, k1, * k2, yo, cdd, yo, k7, yo, cdd, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 7 sts, k2, yo, cdd, yo, k1, edge st.
