Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Stitch:

Work with multiple of 22 stitches + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 24 sts and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work all sts and yo’s P.

The pat rep = 22 sts wide.

Repeat patt between edge stitches throughout.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Row 1: knit all sts.

Row 3: edge st, * k3, k2tog, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, skpo, k12, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k2, k2tog, k1, yo, k3, yo, k1, skpo, k11, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * k1, k2tog, k1, yo, k5, yo, k1, skpo, k10, repeat from *, edge st.
