Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Stitch:

Work with multiple of 6 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 15 sts (1 + 6 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear; work yo's Purl.

The pat rep = 6 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches

Rows 1 and 3: edge st, k1, * k1, p3, k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, k1, * yo, skpo, p1, k2tog, yo, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, k1, * k1, yo, sk2p, yo, k2, repeat from *, edge st

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.
