How to knit Lace Stitch:

Work with multiple of 8 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 19 sts (8 + 8 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work all sts and yo’s P.

The pat rep = 8 sts wide.

Row 1: knit all sts.

Rows 3 and 5: edge st, * k1, yo (yarn over), k2, central double decrease (= slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch), k2, yo, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st

Row 7: knit all sts.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.
