Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 15 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 18 sts (15 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work all sts and yo’s P.

The pat rep = 15 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Row 1: edge st, * k1, yo, k2, skpo, k6, k2tog, k2, yo, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * k2, yo, k2, skpo, k4, k2tog, k2, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k3, yo, k2, skpo, k2, k2tog, k2, yo, k2, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * k4, yo, k2, skpo, k2tog, k2, yo, k3, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.
