Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 17 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 19 sts (17 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work all sts as they appear; work yo's Purl.

The pat rep = 17 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Row 1: edge st, * k3, k2tog, k3, yo, p1, yo, k3, skpo, k3, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * k2, k2tog, k3, yo, k1, p1, k1, yo, k3, skpo, k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * k1, k2tog, k3, yo, k2, p1, k2, yo, k3, skpo, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * k2tog, k3, yo, k3, p1, k3, yo, k3, skpo, repeat from *, edge st.

Rows 9, 11 and 13: edge st, * skpo, k3, yo, k3, p1, k3, yo, k3, k2tog, repeat from *, edge st.
