Lace Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Stitch:

Multiple of 10 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 13 sts (10 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work sts as they appear; purl yo’s.

The pat rep = 10 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Rows 1 and 3: edge st, * p2, k7, p1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * p1, yo, p1, skpo, k3, k2tog, p1, yo, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * k2, yo, p1, skpo, k1, k2tog, p1, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, * k3, yo, p1, cdd, p1, yo, k2, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-10 throughout.
