Lace Mesh Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Mesh Stitch:

Multiple of 4 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 15 stitches (4 + 4 + 4 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows Right Side rows and Wrong Side rows.

Read WS rows from left to right, RS rows from right to left.

The pat rep = 4 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Row 1 (WS): edge st, * k1, yo, cdd, yo, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 2 (RS): edge st, p1, * (k1, p1) twice, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3 (WS): edge st, skpo, yo, * k1, yo, cdd, yo, repeat from * to last 4 sts, k1, yo, k2tog, edge st.

Row 4 (RS): edge st, p1, k1, p1, * (k1, p1) twice, repeat from * to last 3 sts, k1, p1, edge st.

Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.
