How to knit Lace Leaves Stitch:

Multiple of 9 + 2 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 13 sts (1 + 9 + 1 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, work sts as they appear and yo's P.

The pat rep = 9 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches

Rows 1, 3 and 5: edge st, p1, * p1, skpo, k1, yo, k1, yo, k1, k2tog, p1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, p1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, k1, * k1, yo, k2, cdd, k2, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, k1, * k2, yo, k1, cdd, k1, yo, k2, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, k1, * k3, yo, cdd, yo, k3, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 13: edge st, k1, * k1, yo, skpo, p3, k2tog, yo, k1, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 15: edge st, k1, * k2, yo, skpo, p1, k2tog, yo, k2, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.

Row 17: edge st, k1, * k3, yo, sk2p, yo, k3, repeat from * to last 2 sts, k1, edge st.
