Lace Leaf Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Leaf Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 12 stitches + 1 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 27 sts (6 + 12 + 7 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side rows, purl all sts and yo's.

The patt rep = 12 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st and 6 sts before patt rep, work patt repeat throughout, end with 7 sts after patt and 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch 

cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch

Row 1: knit all stitches.

Row 3: edge st, k2tog, yo, k3, * (yo, cdd, yo, k3) twice *; repeat from * to *; yo, cdd, yo, k3, yo, skpo, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, k3, k2tog, yo, k1, * k2, yo, skpo, k5, k2tog, yo, k1 *; repeat from * to *; k2, yo, skpo, k3, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, k2, k2tog, yo, k1, * yo, cdd, yo, k1, yo, skpo, k3, k2tog, yo, k1 *; repeat from * to *; yo, cdd, yo, k1, yo, skpo, k2, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, k1, k2tog, (yo, k1) twice, * cdd, (k1, yo) twice, skpo, k1, k2tog, (yo, k1) twice *; repeat from * to *; cdd, (k1, yo) twice, skpo, k1, edge st.

Row 11: edge st, k2tog, (yo, k1) twice, k1, * cdd, k1, (k1, yo) twice, cdd, (yo, k1) twice, k1 *; repeat from * to *; cdd, k1, (k1, yo) twice, skpo, edge st.
