Lace Diamond Stitch Knitting Pattern
How to knit Lace Diamond Stitch:
Work with multiple of 12 sts + 1 + 2 edge sts.
Cast on 27 sts (6 + 12 + 7 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only Right Side Rows.
On Wrong Side Rows, purl all sts and yo’s.
The pat rep = 12 sts wide.
Begin with edge st and 6 sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with 7 sts after patt and edge st.
yo: yarn over
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
sk2p: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 2 together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches
Row 1: edge st, (k1, yo, skpo) twice, * (k1, k2tog, yo) twice, (k1, yo, skpo) twice, repeat from * to last 8 sts, (k1, k2tog, yo) twice, k1, edge st.
Row 3: edge st, k2, yo, skpo, k1, yo, * sk2p, yo, k1, k2tog, yo, k3, yo, skpo, k1, yo, repeat from * to last 9 sts, sk2p, yo, k1, k2tog, yo, k2, edge st.
