How to knit Lace Diamond Stitch:

Multiple of 12 + 1 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 15 sts (1 + 12 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only RS rows.

On WS rows, purl all sts and yo’s.

The pat rep = 12 sts wide.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

Row 1: edge st, k1, * skpo, k1, yo, k2tog, yo, k1, yo, skpo, yo, k1, k2tog, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, k1, * skpo, k2, yo, k3, yo, k2, k2tog, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, k1, * skpo, k1, yo, k5, yo, k1, k2tog, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, k1, * yo, skpo, yo, k1, k2tog, k1, skpo, k1, yo, k2tog, yo, k1, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 9: edge st, k1, * k1, yo, k2, k2tog, k1, skpo, k2, yo, k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-12 throughout.
