How to knit Lace Diamond Stitch:
Multiple of 8 + 3 + 2 selvage sts.
Cast on 13 sts (1 + 8 + 2 + 2 selv sts) and work according to chart.
The chart shows only RS rows.
On WS rows, purl all sts and yo’s.
The pat rep = 8 sts.
k2tog: knit 2 stitches together
skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch
cdd (Central Double Decrease): slip first and second stitches together as if to knit, knit 1 stitch, pass two slipped stitches over the knit stitch
Row 1: edge st, k1, * k3, yo (yarn over), cdd, yo, k2, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.
Row 3: edge st, k1, * k2, yo, k2tog, k1, skpo, yo, k1, repeat from * to the last 3 sts, k2, edge st.
