Lace Cable Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Lace Cable Stitch:

Work with multiple of 17 stitches + 6 + 2 edge stitches.

Cast on 25 sts (17 + 6 + 2 edge sts) and work according to chart.

The chart shows only Right Side Rows.

On Wrong Side Rows, work all sts as they appear; work yo's Purl.

The patt rep = 17 sts wide.

Begin with 1 edge st, work patt rep throughout, end with 6 sts after patt rep and 1 edge st.

yo: yarn over

k2tog: knit 2 stitches together

skpo: slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit 1 and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitch

C4F: slip 2 sts to cable needle, hold to front, K2, K2 from cable needle

Row 1: edge st, * p1, k4, p1, k11; repeat from * to last 7 sts, p1, k4, p1, edge st.

Row 3: edge st, * p1, C4F, p1, k2tog twice, (yo, k1) 3 times, yo, skpo twice, repeat from * to last 7 sts, p1, C4F, p1, edge st.

Row 5: edge st, * p1, k4, p1, k2tog twice, (yo, k1) 3 times, yo, skpo twice, repeat from * to last 7 sts, p1, k4, p1, edge st.

Row 7: edge st, * p1, C4F, p1, k11, repeat from * to last 7 sts, p1, C4F, p1, edge st.

Repeat Rows 1-8 throughout.
