How to knit Half Brioche Stitch with Garter Stitch:

Work with a multiple of 16 sts + 11 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 29 sts (16 + 11 + 2 edge sts) and work according to сhart.

The chart shows only Right Side rows.

On Wrong Side rows, work all sts as they appear or as given in instructions.

The patt rep = 16 sts wide.

- slstwithyo: make 1 yarn over, pass 1 stitch over on the right needle purlwise. On WS row, purl this st with yo together.

- gst (1 st in garter stitch): work K in RS and WS rows.

Rows 1 and 3 (RS): edge st, * p1, slstwithyo *; repeat from * to *, p1, edge st.

Row 2 and all even-numbered rows (WS): work all sts as they appear or as given in instructions.

Row 5, 7, 9 and 11: edge st, * p1, slstwithyo, p1, gst5, (p1, slstwithyo) 4 times *; repeat from * to *, p1, slstwithyo, p1, gst5, p1, slstwithyo, p1, edge st.

Row 13, 15 and 17: edge st, * p1, slstwithyo *; repeat from * to *, p1, edge st.

Rows 19, 21, 23 and 25: edge st, * (p1, slstwithyo) 5 times, p1, gst5 *; repeat from * to *, (p1, slstwithyo) 5 times, p1, edge st.
