Fancy Stitch Knitting Pattern

How to knit Fancy Stitch:

Work with multiple of 5 sts + 2 + 2 edge sts.

Cast on 14 sts (2 + 5 + 5 + 2 edge sts)and work according to the chart.

The chart shows RS and WS rows.

The pat rep = 5 sts wide. 

Begin with edge st and 2 sts before patt rep, work patt rep throughout, end with edge st.

Row 1: edge st, k2, * yo (yarn over), K2 from 3 sts (= K3tog through the back loop, K2tog through the back loop without slipping the sts from the left needle), k2, repeat from *, edge st.

Row 2: edge st, p2, * yo, P2 from 3 sts (= P3tog, P2tog without slipping the sts from the left needle), p2, repeat from *, edge st.

Repeat these 2 rows for patttern.
